Mittie G. McDonald is a co-founder and Partner with Change Solutions Group, LLP.  She has more than 25 years of industry and consulting experience.

David R. McDonald is a co-founder and Partner with Change Solutions Group, LLP.  He has more than 16 years of information systems and management consulting experience.


Associates:

Based upon the specific business challenges our client, we often enlist the support of an Associate that posses the needed skills, experience or certification.

Dianne Hill, Ph.D. has expertise in addressing Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness issues.  She is certified in the use of the Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i ®) and the Life Orientations Training (LIFO ®) diagnostic tools.

Daniel F. Jennings, Ph.D. has years of experience in helping organizations address Strategic Management issues.  He has done considerable work in the area of aligning business strategy with organizational structure and the impact of this alignment upon business performance.

Jack H. Crownover brings considerable knowledge in solving both Process Improvement and Leadership issues.  He has experience in guiding senior management teams through the implementation of major change management initiatives.

Athens Group, Inc. works with us to help our clients address Technology issues.  They have considerable experience in helping clients design, develop and implement custom software solutions targeted to improve business performance.

Mittie G. McDonald

Mittie has over 25 years of industry and consulting experience in the high-tech electronics, semiconductor and aerospace industries.   She has demonstrated expertise in the areas of business analysis, cost accounting, inventory control, process reengineering, and project management.  Prior to consulting, Mittie held management positions with both Motorola and Tracor Aerospace, and has served as Financial Advisor for several non-profit organizations in Williamson and Travis counties.

Mittie is especially effective in the integrated design and concurrent implementation of new business processes and cost management and control systems required to support operations management.  She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Business Management from St. Edwards University.

David R. McDonald

David has over 16 years of management and technology consulting experience in the software, electronics, consumer products / services, energy and diversified manufacturing industries.  He partners with managers at all levels of the organization to design and implement strategic change programs, which have streamlined operations, improved profitability, and grown revenues. 

His areas of expertise span a broad range of disciplines, including strategy assessment, formulation and implementation, executive coaching, project management, business process improvement, and organizational change management.

David is a frequent lecturer for the St. Edward’s University MBA Program, has served as an Ambassador for the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, and has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Capital City A&M Club.  David has a B.S. Degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Masters in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.

Dianne is President of Performance by Design www.diannehill.com, an organizational development company, serving the training and organization development needs of clients.  Specific activities include organization diagnoses (assessment), and individual, team, and inter group development. The diagnostic tools used by Dianne, include the Emotional Quotient Inventory EQ-i ®, assessing the personal styles and leadership skills of the individual and Life Orientations Training LIFO ® that fosters success for individuals and teams.   As a follow-up to these survey, Dianne conducts confidential feedback meetings, creates individual development plans, and provides follow-up coaching, as needed for each individual.

Her international work has included travel to the UK, Hungary, Canada, Germany, Belgium, Mexico, Italy, and El Salvador.  Dianne is currently the MBA Director, Graduate School of Management, for St. Edward’s University, Austin, Texas, as well as an Assistant Professor of Management.  She received her Bachelors of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin, her Masters in General Business from St. Edward’s University, and her PhD in Educational Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.

Daniel F. Jennings, Ph.D.

Dan is a Full Professor and the Program Director of the Masters of Industrial Distribution Degree at Texas A&M University. His research interests include Managing Profitability, Strategic Alliances, Environmental Scanning, Matching Strategy and Structure and Knowledge Management. As a member of the Industrial Distribution Program and the Thomas and Joan Read Center for Distribution Research and Education, he is involved in undergraduate and professional continuing education teaching activities, funded research projects, journal publication, academic society meetings and publications, service, and industry contact.

Dan's corporate career includes engineering, corporate planning and managerial positions with Armstrong World Industries, Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation, Olinkraft Inc., Boise Cascade Corporation, and Certainteed Corporation in locations in the United States, Canada and South America. His industry experience involves manufacturing and distribution activities.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee, his Masters in Finance from Northeast Louisiana University, and his PhD in Strategic Management from Texas A&M University.

Jack is President of JH Crownover Consulting, LLC, a management-consulting firm focusing on change leadership, quality management, process reengineering, and performance monitoring.  As President, Jack brings over 36 years of executive, operational and staff leadership experience in large global organizations. He has a consistent record of successful decision-making, problem solving and process improvement in the public and private sector encompassing planning/programming, budgeting, facilities management, service quality, operations, and maintenance and personnel programs. 

While in the private sector, his positions have included senior executive of a major military/civilian airport, Director of Housing for the US Department of Defense, Director of Quality for worldwide air transportation organization and a Principle with a large international management-consulting firm. Jack received a Bachelors of Business Administration from Washburn University and a Masters in Management & Supervision from Central Michigan University.
