Change Solutions Group is committed to helping leaders achieve the vision and objectives of their organization.  Our approach in working with our clients is built upon a Process Consulting Model that promotes a collaborative working relationship between ourselves and our clients.  This model enables us to effectively coach our clients as they lead their organization through major change initiatives. We typically work with client managers in one or more of the following ways to:

  • Conduct an initial business analysis to help clients identify and assess the root cause of business problems.

  • Develop specific recommendations to overcome potential barriers to change and to resolve existing business problems.

  • Coach client managers and guide client teams in the implementation of recommended action plans.

 

Strategy is management's tool for defining the direction of the company.  The company must have a roadmap to guide senior management's decision-making and to focus employee activities.

Well defined objectives with measurable goals must cascade into action plans with clear accountabilities through each level of the company.

Business Processes are designed and implemented to be customer-oriented and performance-based.  They are aligned to the strategic objectives of the company and they are sufficiently documented to guide daily operations.

Key performance indicators, and defined roles and responsibilities will help assure continuous improvement.

Information Technology (IT) can be a key enabler of success, but Business Unit and IT managers must work hard to build a common understanding of the organization.

Business Unit managers must understand the competitive marketplace.  They must define business strategies, key objectives and critical priorities.

IT managers must develop and maintain alignment with these strategies, objectives and priorities.  They must continually assess the impact of technology investments upon business results.

People are the company. Collectively, the individual skills of employees comprise the capabilities needed by the company to capture market opportunities.

Collectively, the individual performance of each employee determines the company's success in achieving business improvement objectives.

Collectively, the individual behaviors of employees result in a culture strong enough to sustain the growth and profitability of the company.

Leadership is the most critical of all elements.  A company can not succeed in the other four Business Fundamentals without building leadership excellence, both individually and collectively.

Leaders must be capable of inspiring a shared vision, modeling new behaviors, challenging the status quo, enabling others to act, and encouraging the change at every level of the organization.
